- A 12 Hour Concert which will feature local original bands as well as performances by Jimmy Barnes, Diesel and The Burnie Youth Choir.
- Workshops and info sessions for young music students conducted by Jimmy Barnes, Diesel and his band and TasMusic.
When & Where?
Breath of Life music festival will be held over March 6th, 7th and 8th 2008 at Reece High School in Devonport.Who?
The Breath of Life music festival is an all ages, drug and alcohol free event, which is designed to attract patrons from all sections of the community. Why?
It is a chance to raise money for PIVOT (Pulmonnary Interstitial Vascular Organisational Taskforce). PIVOT and the Australian Lung Foundation are working on creating awareness and interest in some of the more uncommon forms of lung disease.
The Lizotte Family have been touched with family illness of lung disease and are very keen to help raise much needed funds for this worthwhile cause.
It is also an incredible opportunity for local youth to gain experience and knowledge from some of Australia's foremost musicians and professionals who are currently working at the top of their industries.
